wednesday afternoon sketching practice

 

 

after a long day holding a mouse, it feels good to take a break with pen & paper.
i started with the basics--straight lines, diagonals, curves... because i need to loosen up (artist's hand i do not have).  the february sketch session is nearing so i'm warming up! ;)

i'm also learning to draw faces, so wish me luck.  :)
