i love film cameras, part three

What I love about my cameras is that no two are "operated" the same way, and each has its own talent and specialty!

Snap Sights can take photos underwater (and over water too!).

Fuji Instax Mini gives you photos instantly!

Superheadz's Blackbird, Fly is a TLR (twin lens reflex) camera that can be used without a mask so it can show sprockets!

The Canonet QL 17 GIII is a rangefinder that is awesome just the way it is. :D  I got it a few months ago and I've recently used it for a big project for the Lopez Museum.  I hope I didn't waste film!  [It was the first time I did some hardcore street photography and I'm still waiting for the slides to be processed, so I still don't know the outcome. *crossing fingers*]

My "newest" baby is the Nikon F80.  I've been looking for an SLR that I could take anywhere, and the F80 fits my needs (and budget!).  It has automatic settings for that point-and-shoot quickness but it also has a manual mode, which makes me 'not forget' the basics.  :)  ige gave me his old Cokin adaptor and close up filter for macro shots (thanks iggy!).  I'll upload photos taken with it soon.

So that's it!  That's three posts for November already, hahaha.  I haven't been blogging (and writing in general) as much as I used to.  Posting about my cameras is a good comeback to blogging again, and I do hope you'll forgive me for sounding like a little kid during show-and-tell (though less interesting and without the missing teeth).

Hmm..I wonder what my next film camera will be.

haha, thanks! i add on to my collection when i feel the itch (or when i see something i really, really like & have been looking for). right now i'm quite satisfied (and broke). :P

i used to have a supersampler; i sold it a few months ago. i don't get to use it anymore and i realized it would make someone else happy :)

Im thinking of going (back?) to film next year.

I don't know. It scares me. It's been *counts fingers* 12 years since I last used an slr.

Loving this post.
